Draft layout. The responsibilities and qualifications get pasted in from BGC's full job description (Word docs). We tighten the wording and turn it into short bullets so it doesn't read like a Word doc.

What changes, and why

This combines Hannah's page review with Kristin's request for full job description pages. The goal: more applicants who already have experience with kids, and fewer who don't. Kristin flagged that as the main gap. Click any item to jump to it on the mockup.

Questions we need BGC to answer

  1. Starting pay for each role (or one flat rate)? Any raise for returning staff?
  2. Summer start and end dates?
  3. Minimum age: 18+?
  4. Background check, fingerprinting, or drug screen? (We recommend saying so on the page.)
  5. Hiring timeline: how fast can someone call applicants back?
  6. Kids-per-staff ratio, prep time, and supply budget
  7. When do PTO and benefits start?
  8. Can schedules flex (split days, 3:00 start)?
  9. Did Nathan (or others) start as a Youth Development Professional?
  10. OK to run a $50 referral bonus?

Why this should bring better applicants

  • Experience with kids is stated in the headline, the must-haves, and the form. People without it opt out on their own, so we don't need a yes/no screening question.
  • "Tell us about your experience with kids" gives you something to screen before the 15-minute call, even when there's no résumé.
  • Résumé optional / upload later stops strong mobile applicants from dropping off.
  • "How did you hear about us" + tracked links show which channel brings qualified people: Google, Meta, Indeed, or referrals.
  • One page per role gives Facebook and Instagram posts (and Meta ads) a specific link to send people to.
